Absolute Reiki courses are designed to suit anyone regardless of experience and background. Everybody is capable of learning to practice Reiki for themselves and others.
There are three main levels for Reiki training. Many people do Reiki purely for themselves and/or their friends and family. You can start working with Reiki in this way as soon as you are connected to Reiki at 'First degree' level. The 'Second Degree' course takes your training that bit further and can be done for your own personal development or if you would like to reach a level acceptable for working with Reiki professionally. The final level is 'Mastership' again this can be done to help with your own personal development as well as providing new skills when treating others or if you would like to teach.
Becoming a professional Reiki practitioner or teacher is not something that happens overnight. Once you have done your training, it will take time and regular practice before you have the confidence and experience to do it as a profession. Some people go through all three levels with no intention of working professionally. This is fine, as you will benefit from each new level regardless of whether you wish to use Reiki professionally or personally.
Reiki seems to mould itself to the requirements of each individual. Therefore, the benefits of doing a Reiki course are endless. For many it is the beginning of a life long journey of self-discovery, others spend their lives helping others and need something that is there to support them. Reiki is an excellent addition to other therapies, as it will benefit the therapist as well as the work they do. It can enhance creativity and some students develop a sixth sense through working with Reiki. Overall, it provides students with a sense of calm, the strength to cope, when life takes a turn for the worse and courage to be more true to themselves, taking each moment as it comes.
If you have already started your Reiki training elsewhere, but would like to continue your journey with Absolute Reiki, then you will need to do a conversion course. This simply involves learning and working with any techniques, which you have not learnt on your previous course(s). This makes sure that you are up to date with all current information as well as ensuring that you are in the same position as all students attending Absolute Reiki courses. This service is only available to students who book a course with Absolute Reiki.
All the courses provide a clear structure to work with and develop from. Each student is unique so you will learn techniques to help you work intuitively and develop your own unique style. Each course comes with a certificate, indicating the skills you have acquired. All students are kept up to date at all times through regular newsletters and access to manual updates.
The courses come with a comprehensive manual, plus CD's and DVD's relevant to each course. The materials provide detailed information about the theory behind Reiki, plus information on the practical work you will be carrying out.
As a student you will receive long term support and advice included in your course price.
For each course there are three options you can choose from:
- Workshops that allow you to train with me, over one or two days depending on the course, with no more than four students.
- Correspondence Courses that allow you to study over a period of several weeks, in your own home at your own pace.
- One to One Sessions provide individual training with me, with no other students, when it suits you.

A place on a workshop can only be reserved once a deposit has been paid.
All correspondence courses require full payment in advance.
First and Second one to one courses also require a deposit to confirm your booking.
The master one to one course requires full payment in advance.
Any final payments are due on the day of your course.
Once your booking is confirmed deposits are non refundable and this includes payment for correspondence courses and the master one to one course.
If you wish to change a course date a charge of £60 will apply.
This is to prevent time wasters and to stop unnecessary date swapping. Both of which can lead to disappointment for others attending the course, or those who would have liked a place on that date.
